The Seafood Shack is a friendly seafood restaurant, bar and grill located on the Eastern Esplanade along Southend Seafront. They specialise in fresh, high-quality seafood dishes served both hot and cold, while also catering for non-fish eaters with a varied menu that includes meat, vegetarian and vegan options. Gluten-free dietary requirements are also catered for, and all dishes are freshly prepared and cooked to order.

They offer a regularly changing specials board, giving guests the chance to try something new with each visit. Alongside their food, they serve a selection of premium draught beers and a carefully curated wine list, chosen to complement their dishes. While takeaway is available, they recommend dining in to experience the full atmosphere of the Shack.

A breakfast menu is available from 9am to 11am, Tuesday to Sunday, offering a range of dishes to start the day by the seafront.

The business is run by lifelong friends Sandy and Wendy, who combined their shared passion for food and hospitality to create the Seafood Shack. Their partners are also closely involved, supporting both front-of-house and behind-the-scenes operations.
