Keeping Together
The simple wristband scheme aims to help local and visiting families stay safe and reassured when they visit Southend, letting you get on with having fun instead! Since the Scheme was launched in July 2013, over 100,000 bright yellow wristbands have been handed out to children and vulnerable adults.
The bands are available from participating businesses across the city centre and seafront. Once you've got one, all you need to do is simply write your telephone number on the reverse and attach it around your child/adult's wrist. Then, if they inadvertently wander off and become lost, a quick phone call from anyone who finds them will soon have them back where they belong.
Many local businesses now offer the wristbands in Southend;
